- Be cautious around water and sand, these surfaces can actually increase chances of getting a sunburn due to reflection of sun rays
- If possible, wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants if you’re worried about extreme sunburns
- Accessorize smartly: sunglasses, hats, etc.
- Be cautious when it comes to medications and how they could react with the sun (consult your doctor if you are concerned about this)
